Dechra issues invitation to join the ‘Circle of Good’ at London Vet Show
17 November 2017
Dechra Veterinary Products will invite vets and vet nurses to join its Circle of Good campaign at this year’s London Vet Show.
The company has created its largest stand for the event at Olympia in November, offering visitors a chance to learn more about a range of its areas of expertise as well as a new focus on its SPECIFIC™ nutrition range.
Delegates will be invited to learn more about the Circle of Good – a concept that demonstrates the quality and provenance of the food source, how the food supports pet health and how five per cent of the profit from sales goes to good causes.
Larry King, Marketing Manager of Dechra Veterinary Products, said: “We're delighted to return to London Vet Show with our biggest presence ever.
“Our stand will also focus on our range of equine products and delegates can learn more about how we can support them in their treatment of dogs with Cushing's – a condition which can be challenging to diagnose.
“For the first time, we have dedicated an area specifically to our nutrition range, which is only available through vet practices.
“Delegates can enter the London Vet Show Passport Competition at the stand as well as discovering more about the SPECIFIC™ range.
“A small change in a pet’s diet can have a huge impact - not just on their health but on the entire world. We've looked to the oceans to develop this range, with sustainable fish a key ingredient of SPECIFIC™.
“Fishmeal and fish oil, are both rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and provide many immediate benefits including support of the immune system and a healthy skin and coat and also support of healthy joints and mobility.
“Making recommendations about a pet’s food should be a routine part of patient care from vets and vet nurses and this is why we want to introduce not only the SPECIFIC™ range but also the Circle of Good to veterinary professionals.
“We need a healthy environment to produce quality ingredients, to make quality pet food that help keep pets healthy, and as sales rise, we can contribute more to good causes, which in turn leads to a healthier environment.”
