Big apple beckons for prize winning vet thanks to Dechra

A Gloucestershire vet is set to experience animal health care on the other side of the pond after scooping the top prize in a competition hosted by Dechra Veterinary Products at this years’ London Vet Show.

Dianne Gill, veterinary surgeon and practice principal at Crescent Veterinary Centre in Tewkesbury, won a free place at New York Vet, one of the leading north American conferences, in November 2019.

The competition was part of the company’s interactive stand at the 2018 London Vet Show, which was held at the Excel, London, in November.

Delegates were tested on their knowledge of key Dechra brands including its newly launched Tramadol for dogs Tralieve^®, the canine and feline licensed methadone Comfortan® and the antiemetic Prevomax^®.

Dianne’s winning entry was selected at random. Her visit to the conference will allow her to extend her continuing professional development through the comprehensive programme of lectures, showcases and workshops that will take place during the two-day event.
